We invites passionate and dedicated individuals to join our vibrant team, where we focus on advancing sustainable construction, energy efficiency, and human-centered building design. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as IoT, BIM, and machine learning, we aim to enhance building performance, occupant well-being, and environmental sustainability. Our interdisciplinary research addresses challenges in climate resilience and construction automation, shaping innovative solutions for a more adaptable built environment.

Masters, MPs, and Honours Students

We welcome applications from students with a background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields. A strong foundation in research methodologies, sustainability concepts, and experience in IoT, BIM, or data analysis will be advantageous. Candidates should be adaptable to the multidisciplinary nature of our projects. Interested students are encouraged to contact Dr. Shayan to express their interest and explore research opportunities.

PhD Students

We offer dynamic PhD opportunities supported by government and university-funded scholarships, as well as self-funded and home-country funded options, for both domestic and international students.

Key criteria

Domestic students – Applicants should have a strong academic record, including first-class honours and experience in research and scientific writing. Preferred areas of expertise include sustainable construction, energy efficiency, climate resilience, BIM, IoT, and related disciplines.

International students – International applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic and research credentials, including a master’s and honours degree in a relevant field. A minimum overall IELTS score of 7 (with no band below 6.5) or an equivalent TOEFL score is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least two published research articles in high-impact journals within their field. International students who wish to study on a self-financed basis or have a scholarship from their home government are also welcome to apply.
