Dr. Shayan Mirzabeigi

Biography
Shayan Mirzabeigi is an Assistant Professor of Sustainable Construction Management at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). Prior to the current role, he pursued his Ph.D. in Sustainable Construction Management at SUNY ESF under the guidance of Professor Mohamad Razkenari and Professor Paul Crovella. Additionally, he is pursuing a second Ph.D. in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Syracuse University, working with Professor Jianshun Zhang in the Building Energy and Environmental Systems Lab (BEESL). He received his MS degree in Building Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2020. His master’s dissertation was about solar radiation and human comfort. His first degree was a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran, in 2016.
